When 2021 started I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Frankly, I felt like everything I had worked so hard for was crumbling to the ground in 2020. I felt uninspired, and like I had to start all over. And I did in a very real sense.
I'm not one who likes too much down time, so while my family photography business was on a forced sabbatical due to coronavirus, I decided to take advantage of the time and immerse myself in all things photography education. As luck would have it, that was the year that renowned family photographer, Stormy Solis began a two year course called All Hearts Access. Everything about it spoke to me so deeply, so I signed up and binge watched every video. But I didn't stop there. I began listening to photography podcasts, watching videos and began another course on shooting video during photography sessions. It was time well spent, let me tell you.
Now, I am back after my busiest fall season yet, and I am full of passion and inspiration once more! Instead of feeling defeated by what is going on in the world, I am excited to bring some joy into my client's lives through my art. This family right here was a dream! From the styling to the location, it all came together beautifully! And not only are they gorgeous to look at, but they are genuinely nice people and a lot of fun to photograph!
