I'm so happy you're here! As you browse my portfolio, you will notice a few things. My photos aren't heavily posed, and they all show connection between the family. My style is more candid, often referred to as "Lifestyle Photography". Lifestyle family photography is reminiscent of the days when we took a roll of candid pictures, printed them at our local drug store, (often anxiously waiting for a week to see if we "got anything good"), and tucked them neatly into a photo album, so we could re-live the experience over and over again.

That's my inspiration when photographing your family, to catch all the moments, not just the perfectly posed ones. During our session, I will gently guide you in order to illicit natural interactions and document your family's story about this one particular time in your lives. If you have young children, this is actually a great style of family photography, because we all know they would rather play and explore than pose and be told to smile for an hour.  Also, I'm a bit of a toddler whisperer, so all you need to do is show up and I'll handle the rest.
